Eula Crockett
– daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Crockett of Perry, was born in Perry on April 17, 1920 and attended the elementary grades in Fairview. She attended high school in Perry and Orlando. During her high school career she was in the Office Training Club. Following graduation she expects to attend Business College.
Eula Marguerite (Crockett) Karcher
April 17, 1920 – May 3, 1998
Eula Marguerite Karcher, 78, died at 9:06 a.m. Sunday, May 3, 1998, at her Perry home.
Born at Perry on April 17, 1920, she was the daughter of Ernest and Mary (Atherton) Crockett. She attended Fairview school and was a 1937 graduate of Perry High School.
She and Walter Henry Karcher were married in Perry on April 21, 1940.
Mrs. Karcher was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and its Alter Guild and choir.
Her husband, one grandchild, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.
Survivors include: five sons, Jerry Karcher, Loren Karcher, Jim Karcher, and Keither Karcher, all of Perry, and Wayne Karcher, Houston, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Bob (Joy) Justus, Vici; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ladene Webb, Morrison, and Dora Lee Franklin, Perry; and two brothers, Rev. Del Crockett, Selmar, California, and Billy Crockett, Leadville, Colorado.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church. Rev. Myron C. Mattz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Richburg cemetery, Perry, Oklahoma. Memorial have been established to benefit the Lutheran Hour, American Diabetes Association, Jemophilia Foundation and Americare of Oklahoma.
