Willa Dean Stover, wife of Bill Stover, 633 1/2 Jackson street, will concentrate on being a housewife after graduation from Perry high school. She is 18, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Folsom, who now live in Arkansas. Mrs. Stover was born Feb. 13, 1945, in Perry, and is a member of the Church of Christ. Her school activities have included Christmas vespers, all-school review, and home economics assembly. Her favorite subject is bookkeeping and horseback riding is her hobby.
Willa Dean (Folsom) Coker

Willa Dean Stover Coker, age 80, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away on August 29, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Perry, Oklahoma on February 13, 1945, she was the daughter of William and Helen (Albright) Folsom. After her graduation from Perry high school in 1963, Willa began a career as a proof reader at the Perry Daily Journal, where she worked for decades. She then worked several years at the Exchange Bank in Perry.
After retirement, Willa enjoyed working at our local Walmart. She and Bill enjoyed riding dirt bikes together. Willa loved playing card games and dancing. She acted in Stage Coach productions and was a member of the bowling league. She was an active member of the Christ Lutheran Church. Willa was a very caring person and supportive of her family. She enjoyed making people laugh and tried to brighten everyone’s day.
Preceding her in death were: her first husband of 31 years, Bill Stover; her second husband, Raymond Coker; her parents, William and Helen Folsom; her siblings, Sue Crews, Glen Folsom, and Richard Folsom; and several aunts, uncles, and other family members.
Survivors include: her son, Kevin Stover, and his wife, Holly, of Perry; her daughter, Carrie Coles, and her husband, Jim, of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Trevor Stover and his wife, Maci, and great granddaughter, Lynlee; Trenton Stover and his fiancée, Bethany Ayarza; Tali Stover; and Evan Stover Coles; her sisters, Ann Givens, Hope Sparks, and Marta Rother and her husband, Mike; her brother, Frank Folsom; her sisters-in-law, Roni Folsom and Carol Brunnemer; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry with Rev. Aaron Ferguson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial checks be made out to Perry FFA, 900 Fir St., Perry, OK 73077.
