Born Oct. 16, 1960, Peggy Jean Webb has her future well planned. She plans to attain an Associate Bachelor’s degree at Northern Oklahoma college and a Bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State university in computer programming. Peggy’s favorite subject is foreign languages. She relaxes by reading, sewing, playing tennis, or bike riding. Peggy has participated in Future Homemakers of America 1975, choir 1976, Rainbow girls 1974-78, Methodist Youth Fellowship 1975-78, pep club 1975, and student library association 1976-78. Peggy was selected the Rainbow girl of the year 1977, Rainbow worthy advisor 1977, and Methodist Youth Fellowship treasurer 1978. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Webb and lives with her parents at 717 Locust street.
Peggy Jean (Webb) Grove

Peggy Jean Grove, 64, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away on September 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born October 16, 1960, in Perry, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Charlene Webb. She graduated from Perry High School in 1978 and went on to attend Northern Oklahoma College for two years.
On December 22, 1979, she married the love of her life, Michael Grove, at the Methodist Church in Perry. Their marriage was a true partnership, built on love, faith, and dedication to their family. A proud and loving mother, she devoted her life to raising her children and creating a warm and welcoming home. She was a homemaker in the truest sense of the word-nurturing, patient, and endlessly giving. Her greatest joy came from being “Nanny,” and she treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, Kylee, Connor, Addy, Logan, and Abigail. Her love for them was boundless, and they brought her immeasurable happiness.
Survivors include: her beloved husband, Mike Grove; sons, Robert Grove and wife Lauren of Bixby, and Bryce Grove and wife Misty of Mustang; grandchildren, Kylee, Connor, Addy, Logan, and Abigail; sister, Bobbie Lynn Aiken of Tonkawa; brother, Eric Webb of Eastsound, Washington; brother-in-law, Tim Grove of Blackwell; sisters-in-law, Carla Grove and Marleda Humble of Blackwell; and her dear lifelong friend, whom she considered a sister, Lavonna Smith of Perry.
Preceding her in death were: her father, Robert Webb; and her father- and mother-in-law, Marlyn and Patricia Grove.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nazarene Church, 829 Jackson St., Perry, OK 73077.
