Phyllis Margaret Chiles was born in Perkins Feb. 28, 1934. She plans to work for a time and then enroll in college. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Chiles, route 4, Perry. She has received her education at Perry, Lone Elm, and Barrett rural schools. Phyllis was in her freshman class play.

Phyllis Margaret (Chiles) Koch, 91, of Ponca City, OK, died on January 29, 2026.
Born on February 28, 1934, in Perkins, OK, she was the daughter of Archie and Geneva (Kester) Chiles. She graduated from Perry High School in 1952.
On December 31, 1959 Phyllis and Franklin “Gene” Koch were married in Stillwater, OK. Phyllis loved quilting and gardening, taking care of her flowers, and was one wicked domino player. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by children, Debbie Miller and her husband, Roger, of Mounds, OK, Earl Eugene Koch of Ponca City, OK, Diane Dewberry of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Brad Miller, Bobby Barnett, Nicole Brewer, Jeremy Wilson, Franklin Koch, Patrick Koch, Austin Miller, Kyra Gordon; great-grandchildren, Levi and Landon Barnett, Christlyn Barnett, Brently Wilson, Alanna Miller, Cavin Brewer, Walker Gordon, Cole Wesley Gordon, Emmet Koch, Jaxon Brewer, Waylynn Miller, Wrangler Miller; great-great-grandchildren Dalaynee; Sisters; Charolette Stephens, and Kay Moore; many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Gene, and her parents.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Ranch Drive Baptist Church.
