Planning to enter the United States Air Force following graduation is Earl Michael Brand, grandson of Mrs. Genevia Brand, 712 Tenth street, and the late Sam Brand. He was born July 24, 1959, in Perry. He attended Perry public schools with the exception of a short period of time at Hutch high school at Hutchinson, Kan. Brand was a member of band for eight years and lists American Indian literature as his favorite subject. Reading is his hobby.

He was the son of Ken Michael and Eugena Rachel (Kent) Brand.
Survivors, wife, Jean of the home; son Erik, of Enid, OK; daughters, Amanda & Elexis of Wichita; sister, Rachael Smith; brothers, Bob & Troy Brand; 2 grandchildren.
A sister, Anna Maria Brand, (b. Jul 24, 1965, d. Sept. 6, 1992 at Bentonville, Benton, Ark.) predeceased him.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thurs. at the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK.
