Joella Mary Marcus, 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moe Marcus, 524 Fir avenue, plans to be married after graduation, and also may attend Northern Oklahoma Junior college, Tonkawa. She was born Feb. 28, 1939, in Los Angeles, and has attended school in California, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. At PHS she has been a member of the Red Hots, band, and student council. She also has taken part in class assembly programs, the all-school revue and served as homeroom secretary. Her favorite subject is home-economics, and painting is her hobby.

Joella Mary (Marcus) Riddle

Riddle, Joella, 74, died Sept. 12 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

She was born in Los Angeles. CA. on Feb. 28, 1938 and raised in Perry, OK. She was the daughter of Moe and Christine Marcus, and she was married to Henry Riddle for 48 yrs.

She was former president of Wichita Women’s Business Society and Perry High Alumni member.

She is survived by four sisters and one brother; daughter, Joelyn (Mark) Moody; granddaughter, Chrystal Moody; and grandson, Sterling Moody.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Yaya’s Bistro. 8115 E. 21st St.. Wichita, KS. Memorials may be sent to Da Vita Dialysis Henry & Joella Riddle Transportation Fund @ 2630 N. Webb Rd.
