Dorthea Elizabeth (Jensen) Donnelly

November 23, 1916 – September 1, 1992

Dorthea E. (Jensen) Donnelly, 75, Taft, Calif., relative of Perryans, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1992, at Bakersfield, Calif. Private services will be held and burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery at Perry.

Mrs. Donnelly was born at Perry, Nov. 23, 1916. Her parents were Chris D. and Lula Jensen, early Perry residents. She was a 1934 graduate of Perry high school. She was married to Raymond Casey of Perry.

After Casey’s death, she and William E. Donnelly of Taft, Calif., were married. Donnelly also preceded her in death.

She was employed by Standard Oil of California and Comet Variety Stores in Taft, Calif.

Among survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Jandryd and LaVaughn Lawson, Perry; a grandson,
Mark Lawson, Perry; three granddaughters, Judy Cadle, Ponca City, Carolyn Lawson, Oklahoma City,
and Marisa Lawson, Port Townsend, Wash.; five great-grandchildren; three sisters. Jessamine Thompson and Harriet Norris, both of Shawnee, and Christine Fordyce, Canyon Lake, Texas; and one brother, William B. Jenson, Oakland, Calif.

Mrs. Donnelly was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
