James Elmer Hagemen

July 23, 1914 – May 21, 1983

James Hageman, 68, 1419 Country Club drive, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Stillwater Medical center. Funeral has been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker Funeral home. Rev. Don John son, pastor of the United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery. As requested by Hageman, the casket will not be opened. The family has suggested memorials be made to heart research.

Born July 23, 1914, at Red Rock, Hageman had lived in the area all his life. He graduated from Perry high school in 1933. Hageman and Edna Ritchey were married at Enid, Aug. 12, 1939. He had been engaged in farming and was an oilfield pumper.

In addition to Mrs. Hageman, of the home, survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Sherman (Beverly) Pearsall, Frederick, Mo.; Mrs. Robert (Florence) Koenig, Lincoln, Neb.; Mrs. Bill (Gloria) Eby, Rogers, Ark.; Mrs. Jerry (Ella Rae) Christensen, Mattoon, Ill.; and Mrs. Jack (Clara) Booth, Miami, Okla.; one son, Timothy Hageman, Stillwater; two brothers, Millard and Phillip, both of Perry; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Leona Esther) Hess, Gladstone, Oregon; and Miss Ruth Hageman, Washington, D.C.; and 13 grandchildren.

Hageman was preceded in death by one daughter and one son.
