Barbara Marshall

– daughter of Mrs. M. A. Marshall, 712 Sixth street, and First Class Petty Officer Marshall, who is serving as a Seabee in the U.S. navy.

Born in Bowie, Texas, sixteen of her 18 years have been spent in Perry. She was a member of the student council two years, received a council award, held membership in the band two years, the glee club, and the national honor society. She was cast in her junior play. She was affiliated with the Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Barbara will attend Hill’s business university, Oklahoma City, in coming months.

Barbara Janice (Marshall) Kehres

March 21, 1925 – March 13, 1990

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday for Barbara Kehres, 64, who died at midnight Monday night at her home at 712 Sixth street.

The service will be at Brown Funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Dunkin officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery.

She was born March 21, 1925, at Bowie, Texas, and lived most of her life in Perry. She was the daughter of Bud and Blanche Marshall. A 1943 graduate of Perry high school, she had worked as a legal secretary.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbe Kehres Brookfield, Edmond, and Jann Edmondson, Stillwater; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
