Gertrude (Maxwell) Miller

March 3, 1907 – October 13, 1981

Gertrude Miller, 74, Riverside, Calif., formerly of Perry, died Tuesday at Riverside. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Parker Funeral home at Perry. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church with Rev. Ward J. Pankratz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was born March 3, 1907, in Pennsylvania and moved to the Perry area in 1922. She was a graduate of Perry high school and in 1928 married George M. “Mack” Miller at Perry. Miller preceded his wife in death in 1977.

The Millers moved to McAlester from Perry in 1944 and to California in 1976. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Catholic church and the Catholic Altar Society.

Among survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Cliff (Idabelle) Wilson, Riverside; Katherine Miller, Midwest City; and Mrs. Glen (Maxine) Fisher, Weaton, Md.; a son. Max Miller, Fullerton, Calif.; a sister, Laura Stapleton, LaHabra, Calif.; a brother, Jack Maxwell, Dallas, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Miller was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Carrie Lindeman, Perry.
