Charles Dunshee

– son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Dunshee, was born October 30, 1916, in Perry, Oklahoma. He has attended school in Perry.

Following graduation he expects to go to college and study engineering.

Charles Magee Dunshee

October 30, 1916 – January 5, 1976

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Ila Dunshee, 89, and her son, Charles, 59, both of Enid, formerly of Perry, who died Monday of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Enid.

Rev. Lloyd Lambert, pastor of the Central Christian church of Enid, will officiate at services at the Henninger-Allen Funeral home chapel at Enid. Graveside rites will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Grace Hill cemetery at Perry.

Dunshee was born in Perry Oct. 30, 1916, the son of Charles Hudson and Ila (Magee) Dunshee. He served in the United States Army from 1942 until 1946, then moved to Enid. He worked for a number of years for the Rainey-Davis company. He was a member of the Assembly of God church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his sisters, Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Friend, Perry, and Mrs. Clarence (Mary Elizabeth) Bashlor, Crescent City, Fla., seven nieces and nephews and an aunt, Mrs. Angie Blackshear, Trinity.
