Harold Victor Plumer

March 24, 1914 – July 17, 1992

Harold Plumer, a retired oil drilling contractor, died Friday at his Fort Worth, Texas home. He was 78.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, TX.

The son of Louis Emil and Girtha Ellen (Scrivner) Plumer, Mr. Plumer was born in Lucien, Okla., and had lived in Fort Worth since 1956. He was a member of University Christian Church and Shady Oaks Country Club.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Plumer of Fort Worth; three daughters, Sally Moore of Nampa, Idaho, and Jody Plumer and Vickie Klingenberg, both of Dallas; two brothers, Paul Plumer of Tyler, Texas, and Charles Plumer of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Aleen Caudill of Houston, Betty Van Tyl of Slidell, La., and Margaret Black of Salem, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
