Glenn Herbert VanBebber

December 7, 1910 – May 8, 1961

An illness of the past eight months was fatal at 1 a.m. Monday to Glenn VanBebber, 50, in St. Joseph’s hospital, Wichita.

Services will be announced by the Parker funeral home.

VanBebber, a native of Perry, was born Dec. 7, 1910, and was married here in 1938 to the former Shirley Wood, who survives. He was a member of the First Christian church.

VanBebber’s home was west of Perry. He was a pumper for Union Texas Natural Gas Corp.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Gene, Perry; a daughter, Mrs. George (Doris “Christy”) Whitchurch, Perry; his mother, Mrs. Ila VanBebber, Perry; four brothers, Roy, Orlando; Ralph, Duncan; Jack, Dumas, Texas; and Earl, Tracy, Calif.; and five sisters, Miss Bessie VanBebber, Perry; Mrs. Bertha Shellenberg, Guthrie; Mrs. Harriet Tefteller, Ada; Miss Lillian VanBebber, Silver Springs, Md.; and Mrs. Dorothy Ritterbush, Guthrie.
