Flossie Arvesta (Barnes) Berry

October 4, 1917 – February 3, 1970

Mrs. Arvesta Berry, 53, Claremore, Okla., died at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Claremore hospital following an illness of one year.

Funeral rites will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Bible Baptist church, Claremore. Graveside services are set for 3:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park cemetery, Enid. Rice Funeral home, Claremore, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Berry, daughter of the late Lee and Dora Barnes, south of Perry, was born Oct. 4, 1917, near Perry. She graduated from Perry high school in 1935 and Enid General school of nursing.

Before her illness Mrs. Berry was serving as a county health nurse at Claremore.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Neil Berry; and her aunt, Mrs. Ada Wiehe, Perry, Okla.
