Koto “Kay” (Moore) Shelton
May 24, 1906 – August 17, 1972
Mrs. Kay (Koto) Moore Shelton, 66, Tulsa, a native of Perry, died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday in a Houston, Texas, hospital, where she had been a patient the past four months.
Tentative arrangements call for graveside services at 3 p.m. Saturday at Grace Hill cemetery under direction of the Newton funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Don Harnden, pastor of the First Presbyterian church.
She was born in Perry May 24, 1906, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Moore, once prominent in Perry.
Among survivors are her husband, C. E. Shelton, of the home at Tulsa; and three sisters, Mrs. Curtis (Lola) Mouser, Houston; Mrs. Charles (Maxine) Bradford, Tulsa; and Mrs. George J. (Patricia) Heuer Jr., Houston.
