Mary “Nell” (Johnston) Burba

December 15, 1914 – January 28, 1983

Mary Nell Burba, 68, of Oklahoma City, passed away Friday in a local hospital.

The adopted daughter of Henry S. and Ethel (Littleton) Johnson, she was born December 15, 1914. She was a 1933 graduate of Perry High School and a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

She was married August 4, 1935 to Ernest G. Wall and on June 11, 1961 to Joe D. Burba.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, of the home; one son, Robert H. Wall of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Earnestina Pepple of Yuma, AZ, Donna Babcock of Michigan; one brother, Robin Johnston of Calif.; sister, Gertrude Walton, St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Hunter Funeral home Memorial Chapel followed by internment at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma.
