Frances Marian Jones

– daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Jones was born March 30, 1918, at Perry, Oklahoma. She attended school at St. Joseph’s Academy, Perry and Perry High School.

She was elected Football Queen, 1935.

She wants to become a nurse and is planning on attending a nurse’s training school next year.

Frances Marian (Jones) Wilson

March 30, 1918 – October 23, 1998

Frances “Fran” Wilson, 80, Pampa, TX, formerly of Perry, died at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at the home of her daughter in Oklahoma City.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Perry. Rev. John Sheller will officiate. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Catholic cemetery under direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilson was born March 30, 1918 at Perry. She was the daughter of Frank and Else (Reub) Jones.

She attended St. Joseph Academy in Perry and was a 1936 graduate of Perry High School. On June 15, 1940, she and Earl Wilson were married at Perry. He preceded his wife in death in May, 1973.

Mrs. Wilson had been employed for Perry attorney Al Singletary. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1970. She was a member of the Altar Society and Perry Golf and Country Club.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice in Oklahoma City. Contributions can be made in care of Brown Funeral Home.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank Jones Jr.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Don Landstrom, Oklahoma City, and Cathy and Gordon Davis, Pampa; one son, Stephen Wilson, Irving, TX; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandson and one sister. Pat Sewell, Wichita, KS.
