Robert Rutherford

- son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Rutherford, was born May 26, 1916 in Garfield County, Oklahoma. He has attended District No. 32, Noble county school and Perry High School.

While a student in Perry he has been a member of the Hi-Y, been in a Junior-Senior play, two all-school plays and in an all-school operetta. He was selected as one of two students to represent Perry at Norman Convention of Senior Honor Students. He was a member of the Honor Society and was in the Senior Pageant.

Following graduation he expects to farm. He is interested in aviation.

Robert W. Rutherford, 81, a minister, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, in Jacksboro, Texas.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church in Jacksboro. Burial: Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jack County.

The Rev. Robert W. Rutherford was born May 26, 1916, in Haywood, Okla.

Survivors: Wife, Vivian Rutherford; sons, Gene Rutherford, the Rev. Irvin Rutherford, George Rutherford and Roger Rutherford; daughters, Pat Allen, Reba Pippin, Deloris Piper, Dee Mason, June Eardley and Deena Keith; brother, Rufus J. Rutherford; sisters, Reba Chastain and Geraldine Tasker; 30 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
