- has served on the student council for two years, has been in the Red Hots for three years, is at present reporter for the glee club, of which she has been a member since 1941, and is reporter of the Catholic Study club.

The daughter of Mrs. Loretta Day, 1013 Grove street, she was born June 20, 1927, in this city. She attended St. Joseph’s academy before entering the public school system here.

Margaret Fern (Day) Moore

June 20, 1927 – Death Date

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Jackie (Margaret Fern) Moore, 47, Midwest City, who died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Mercy hospital, Oklahoma City. Mass will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church, Perry. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Catholic cemetery under direction of Bill Eisenhour funeral home, Del City.

Mrs. Moore was born June 20, 1927 at Perry. She was a graduate of Perry high school. She married Jackie Chester Moore July 4, 1948 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church, Perry. They moved to Midwest City in 1962.

Mrs. Moore was an engineering clerk for Southwestern Bell Telephone company for 22 years. She was a member of the Catholic church.

Survivors other than her husband of the home include three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Debi) Castro, Midwest City; Mary Jane Moore and Patti Sue Moore, of the home address; one brother, Jackie Day, Stillwater; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Howard, Garland, Texas and Mrs. Carolyn Fields, Stillwater; her mother, Mrs. Loretta Morgan, Midwest City and her father, Marvin Jack Day, Stillwater.
