She could get lost in a book for hours. Carole was sweet and kind-hearted person who would drop what she was doing to help someone in need. After retirement she would volunteer her time at the Green Valley Nursing Home as well as the hospital in Perry. She treasured the times she would get to catch up with the ladies that were there while she did their hair and nails.

Survivors include: sister-in-law, Pat Dickey and husband Roger of Forth Worth, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kim Law of Perry, Oklahoma; niece, Rhonda Meyer and her husband Greg of Perry, Oklahoma along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Goodspeed; son, Trey Goodspeed; and her parents, Pete and Edna Edmondson.
