– 18 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Gillihan. He was born March 3, 1922 in Cushman, Arkansas. Before attending the Perry schools he attended school in Garber.

Hunting and fishing are his hobbies.

James Druey Gillihan, 44, of Lawton and formerly of Perry, died September 22, 1966.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the New Post chapel at Fort Sill. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gracelawn cemetery at Edmond under direction of the Becker funeral home at Lawton.

A retired Army sergeant, Gillihan entered school here in 1934 and graduated in 1940 from Perry high school. He was born March 3, 1922, at Batesville, Ark. to James Cody and Virgie O. (Hon) Gillihan. He was married to the former Ethel Darlene Simpson.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene, of the home at Lawton; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Dudley, Lawton; his mother, Mrs. Virgie Gillihan, Ponca City; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. McCullough, Ponca City, and Mrs. Jewel Huffaker, Bethany; and one brother, Rex R. Gillihan, Lawton.
