Ralph Marsh Dague

Ralph Marsh Daque, 85, died in Colorado on April 18, 1980.

Dague was born on May 30, 1894, in Twelve Mile, Fulton Co., Indiana, to David Newton and Matilda Jane (Marsh) Dague. He came to Oklahoma with his parents and graduated from Perry high school in 1915. After high school he attended Oklahoma University until his enlistment in the military. He served in World War I in France and returned home in May, 1919.

On March 7, 1922, he and Lydia G. Parkins were married in Guthrie, Oklahoma. They made their home in McAlester, where he worked as a carrier for the United States Post Office, and began raising their son, Ralph Milton and daughter, Jean Joann.

The family moved to Denver, Colorado.
