Rachel C. (Gatewood) Sudduth

October 23, 1904 – April 15, 1962

Burial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grace Hill cemetery for Mrs. Rachel Gatewood Sudduth, 57, of Langley, Oklahoma, who died Sunday night in a Pryor hospital where she had been a patient since Friday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ at Vinita under direction of the Luginbuel funeral home.

Mrs. Sudduth, a former Perry resident, was born Oct. 23, 1904, in Sentinel, to Charles and Roxanna (Reed) Gatewood. She graduated from Perry high school and was married to Bert Sudduth on March 31, 1938, in Kingfisher. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Bert, of the home at Langley; a sister, Mrs. W. G. Harris, Oklahoma City; and four brothers, G. W., Morrison; Earl, Chelsea; Raymond, Wyandotte; and Hugh, Pollard, Ark.
