Betty Feken

College or defense work either will suit Betty Lorene Feken, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. William Feken of route 2, Perry, after she gets her high school diploma here this spring.

She was born December 22, 1917, in Perry, and attended grade school at Happy Hill district 11.

She is a member of the Red Hots, Maroon pep club, and of the First Christian church.

Betty Lorene (Feken) Murphy

December 22, 1927 – June 9, 1997

Betty Murphy, 69, 907 North Brookwood, Perry, died June 9, 1997 at her home.

Born December 22, 1927, she was the daughter of William John and Nellie Brigham Feken, In 1945 she graduated from Perry high school.

The funeral for Mrs. Murphy was June 11, 1997 at the First Christian church of Perry with Rev. Lynn Scott, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Polo cemetery, northwest of Perry, under direction of Brown Funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, one son, three daughters, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers and one sister.
