Ayliffe Jane (Moore) Bressie

December 6, 1902 – July 10, 1944

Mrs. C. C. Bressie, the former Miss Ayliffe Jane Moore, who lived at Perry for many years, died at Tulsa Wednesday.

She was born in Iowa but grew up at Perry and graduated from Perry high school in 1922. She was married in June of 1922 to Clarence C. Bressie, who was an employee of the water and light plant here. He is now a shipfitter 1/c serving with the Seabees in the Pacific. She lived in Ponca City for some time.

Survivors in addition to the husband include the following: three children, Rev. Royce L. Bressie, Port Isabel, Tex., Arlyn Bressie, S 1/c on sea duty with navy, and Miss Zeldean Bressie, government telegrapher at Harlington, Tex.; her mother, Mrs. May Moore, Texas; a brother, Noel Moore, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Chris Anderson, Marland.

Funeral services were to be held at Tulsa Thursday.
