Herbert Lucian Treeman

December 5, 1887 – June 27, 1961

Services were Thursday in Clearwater, Fla., for H. L. (Herb) Treeman, son of a pioneer Perry family, who died Tuesday in Clearwater after several years of failing health.

Treeman, born December 5, 1887, in Burwell, Nebraska, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Treeman, and a brother of the late Ralph Treeman of Perry. He graduated from high school here in 1905 and from Oklahoma State university in 1909. He and Winifred Elizabeth Wilson were married July 31, 1915. She preceded him in death.

Before retiring and moving to Florida, he was a New England executive with a national food store chain. His father was a founder of the old Farmers and Merchants bank here.

Survivors include a son, Lt. Col. D. C. Treeman, Alexandria, Va., and three grandchildren.

R. W. Treeman of Sapulpa, a nephew and son of Mrs. Ralph Treeman of Perry was among those attend the services in Clearwater.
