Will Art Voss

– 17, plans to make farming his permanent occupation after his graduation from Perry high school this year.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Voss, route 1, Perry was born August 24, 1926. He received his grade schooling at Rose Hill school, district 32.

Will Art is a member of the Perry FFA chapter, and is a member of the Lutheran church Walther league. He also participated in football and wrestling.

Will Art Voss, 73, Perry, was born Aug. 24, 1926 in Perry, OK, the son of William Henry and Flora (Kuntz) Voss.

He died at 4:45 p.m Monday, Aug. 7, 2000 at Perry Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, OK. Rev. Myron C. Maltz will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Sisson Funeral Home.

Voss was a graduate of Perry High School. He and the former Audrey Mabel Stephens were married Aug. 10, 1947 at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, OK.

He worked as a farmer, oilfield pumper and insurance agent until he retired in 1992. Voss was a life-long member of the Christ Lutheran Church where he had served as elder and president of the congregation. Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church or Perry Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Ann Voss, Sand Springs, OK, Ralph and Jenny Voss, Marlow, and Russell and Penny Voss, Norman; grandchildren: Darren and Carla Wiggs, Owasso, OK, Terry Wiggs, Tulsa, OK, Christian and Valerie Voss, Sand Springs, OK, Misty and Jason Keene, Stillwater, OK, Jennifer, Laura and Audrey Voss, Marlow, and Austin and William Garrett Voss, Norman; two great grandchildren: Taylor and Dylan Wiggs, Owasso; one sister, Maxine Knorr, Stillwater; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Daryl; one brother, Lambert Voss; and his parents.
