Raymond Reed Casey

July 20, 1913 – September 20, 1960

Raymond Reed Casey, 47, of 503 Ivanhoe street, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Northwest Oklahoma hospital, Fort Supply, where he had been a patient since Sept. 16. Cause of death was listed as pneumonia.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Newton funeral home, with burial in Grace Hill cemetery.

Casey, a native of Weatherford, was born June 20, 1913, and for the past several years had been engaged in oil field work both in this country and abroad.

He came to Perry in 1923 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Casey, and graduated from Perry high school. His father preceded him in death.

In addition to his mother, Mrs. Myrtle M. Casey, of the home, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jandryd Lawson, Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Nyle Casey, Newhall, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
