Elsea Gretchen (Snodgrass) Miller

February 2, 1890 – February 3, 1973

Mrs. Elsea G. Miller, 83, Afton, Okla., formerly of Perry, died Saturday at a Miami, Okla. hospital.

Rites will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Thomas funeral home at Miami. Graveside service will be at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Hill cemetery, Perry.

Mrs. Miller, who was born Feb. 2, 1890, in Nebraska to John W. and Arminta May (Karns) Snodgrass. They moved to Perry about 1902 where she graduated from Perry high school in 1908. She left the local area returning in 1929. In 1939 she moved to Afton, Okla.

Among survivors are one nephew, Glen Snodgrass; one niece, Mrs. Clara Hunt; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hannah Snodgrass, all of Perry.
