– daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Baetz of 1225 Delaware street, is interested in art and collections of all kinds. She distinguished herself in the high school glee club.

She intends to follow the beautician’s art following graduation. She was born in Perry and has attended the Lutheran school and Perry high school

Opal Rose Marie (Baetz) Elliott

September 22, 1921 – December 5, 2000

Opal Rose Marie (Baetz) Elliott, 79, Perry, OK, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at Perry Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Elliott had resided much of her life in the Dallas, TX area.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at the Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Myron C. Maltz officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Sisson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Elliott was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Perry, OK, the daughter of Otto and Myrtle (Carrier) Baetz. She was married to Harvey M. Elliott on June 7, 1940 at Perry, OK.

She was a life-long member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Julie Elliott, Midland, TX; Tom and Linda Elliott, Carrollton, TX; and Rev. Mark and Susan Elliott, Champaign, IL; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Manila Francis and Doris Brown, both of Perry; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Leona Baetz, Dangerfield, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, on March, 23, 1983; and her parents.
