Marie Lilian Blecha

October 12, 1913 – April 20, 1933

Marie L. Blecha, 19 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Blecha, northwest of Perry, died at the Methodist hospital, at Guthrie, Oklahoma at 1:15 o’clock Thursday.

Death was the result of an illness which began in December, when Miss Blecha was given treatment at the Guthrie hospital. Miss Blecha, who was a Student of the Agriculture and Mechanical college at Stillwater, enrolled for work the second semester and was apparently well until a few days ago, when she suddenly became seriously ill, and was returned to the Guthrie hospital.

Miss Blecha was a junior in the school of home economics at Stillwater having graduated from the Perry high school with the class of 1931. She was born, October 12, 1913 at the family home, six and one-half miles northwest of Perry.

She is survived by her father and mother, one sister, Adeline and three brothers, Alfred, student at A. and M. and Frank and Kenneth of the home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o’clock, from the First Presbyterian church of Perry, with Rev. David Thomas, pastor, officiating. Burial will he made at the Grace Hill cemetery of Perry, with Davis and Son in charge. The body is being held at the Davis and Son funeral home.
