Glenna Belle (McCoy) Sims

February 7, 1914 – May 3, 1956

Services for Mrs. Otis Sims have been set for Tuesday in Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Sims, the former Glenna McCoy, died instantly Thursday following a car accident near McCloud, California, as she and her husband, Otis, were en route home after visiting a son, Dick, in the Marine Corps at Long Beach, Calif. Her husband remains in critical condition.

Born February 7, 1914, in Perry, she was the daughter of Henry Faye and Nina (Day) McCoy. She graduated from Perry high school in 1931 and was married to James “Otis” Sims on January 22, 1933.

Mr. and Mrs. Sims moved from Perry about 15 years ago.
