Ronald Sylvester Hamous

January 7, 1912 – June 8, 1956

Ronald S. Hamous, 44, former Perry resident, died at noon Friday in an Appleton, Wis., hospital, following an illness of several months.

Arrangements for last rites had not been announced here Saturday.

Hamous was a brother of Merrill R. Hamous, Perry pharmacist, who died of a heart attack May 10. Ronald Hamous had been in ill health several months. He also was a brother of Mrs. R. N. Nelson, Orlando.

Hamous left Perry around 27 years ago after attending high school here and working in the court clerk’s office.

Additional survivors include his wife, Frances; a daughter, Janelle, 9; and son, Steven, 4, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Esther Kolks, Glasgow, Mo.; a brother, Glen Hamous, Enid; and two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Mewell, Enid; and Mrs. Don Willard, Silver Springs, Md.
