Glen Frank Hamous

Glen Hamous, 52, of Enid and formerly of Perry, died at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s hospital, Enid, of a heart attack following an illness of several months.

Services were pending Saturday at the Heninger-Allen funeral home. Burial will be at Enid.

He was born Nov. 19, 1910, in Lynch, Neb., to Frank and Esther Hamous. The family moved to Perry in 1922 where he graduated from Perry high school in 1927. He moved to Enid in 1932.

He was part owner of three bowling alleys in Enid.

Survivors include his wife, Grace, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Esther Kolks, Enid; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Palecek and Mrs. Beulah Newell of Enid, Mrs. Florence Willard of Silver Springs, Md., and Mrs. Eleanor Nelson of Orlando; and an aunt, Mrs. B. E. Nelson, Perry.
