Eva Idell (Wolleson) Cash

September 6, 1905 – May 21, 2001

Eva Idell Cash passed away Monday, May 21, 2001, in a local care center. She was a longtime resident of Kerrville, Texas.

Born September 6, 1905, in Lucien, Oklahoma, to Adolph and Fannie Wolleson. She graduated from Perry high school in 1924 and attended A. & M. College at Stillwater, Oklahoma for two years.

On July 12, 1926, she and James Harvey Cash were married in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where they made their home for several years.

She is survived by her son, Lt. Col. James “Jim” H. Cash III and wife, Leah, of Kerrville, and grandson, James H. Cash IV of Orange, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where she will be interred next to her late husband, Brig. Gen. James H. Cash II. Funeral services are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home.
