A student at Perry high school since 1975, Debrah Ann Friend also attended school at Woodrow Wilson elementary school, Central school, and Seminole high school at Seminole. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Friend, route two, Perry. She was born Feb. 14, 1959, at Perry. Miss Friend was a member of Future Homemakers of America, 1975-76; and vocal music, 1976-77. She took part in the senior class homecoming skit in 1976. Sewing is her hobby and accounting is her favorite school subject. Miss Friend’s future plans include employment.
Debrah Ann (Friend) Sadler
February 14, 1959 – January 26, 1994
Debrah Ann “Debbie” Sadler, 34, 1102 Rose Terrace, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1994, at the Presbyterian hospital at Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Sadler was born Feb. 14, 1959, the daughter of Ronald and Doris (Dahl) Friend. She was a 1977 graduate of Perry high school. She and David Lee Sadler were married at Perry on March 23, 1979.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Perry and served as director of the children’s program at the church.
In addition to her husband, of the home, survivors include one daughter, Charity Rae Sadler, and one son, Christopher David “Chris” Sadler, both of the home; her parents, Ronald and Doris Friend, El Reno; two brothers, Mickeal Ray Friend, McLoud, and Bobby Dean Friend, Chickasha; two sisters, Brenda Lee Harmon, Perry and Ronda Lynn Campbell-Sadd, Stillwater; and her maternal grandmothers, Opal Dahl, Perry.
Mrs. Sadler was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Herb Dahl, and her paternal grandparents, Roy and Ruth Friend.
Funeral has been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God church in Perry. Rev. Jim Guerrero and Rev. Mark Fox will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery. Memorials have been established to benefit the Children’s Ministry at the First Assembly of God church.
