Raymond Patton

1914 – 1952

Friends here have been advised of the death in California of Raymond Patton, formerly of Perry.

Patton was killed in a car accident, but details of the mishap have not been learned. He was the son of the late James and Pearl Patton, and a brother of James (Marky) Patton, now an assistant football coach at New Mexico State college, Las Cruces, N.M.

Raymond Patton attended Perry high school and played football in 1932. At one time he formed an adagio dance team with the former Miss Jeanice Beers of Perry and traveled part of the season with the old 101 Ranch show.

He is survived by his wife and one child.
