Henrietta Mae Bamberger
– daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bamberger, route 1, Perry, was born seventeen years ago at Sumner.
She has since attended school at Sumner and Perry.
Henrietta Mae (Bamberger) Bocox
Dec. 26, 1926 – September 19, 1985
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Salem Lutheran church in Stillwater for Henrietta Mae Bocox, 58, who died Thursday in Mercy hospital in Oklahoma City. Paul Moessner, pastor, will officiate, Strode Funeral home is in charge of arrangements and will direct interment in the Zion cemetery near Perry. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the church.
Mrs. Bocox was born Dec. 26, 1926 in Perry to Henry and Matilda (Mielke) Bamberger. She grew up on a farm near Perry, attended Sumner school and graduated from Perry high school.
She was married in 1947 to Don Bocox. She was a 25-year employee in food service with the Stillwater Public schools before her retirement last year.
Mrs. Bocox was preceded in death by her father, and a sister, Maxine Bamberger, who died as a child.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. (Loretta) Wherry, Yale, her mother, Mrs. Matilda Bamberger, Stillwater; a grandchild; and a brother, Eugene Bamberger, Huntington Beach, Calif.
