Dorothy Lucille Appelbaum

July 23, 1936 – October 28, 1987

Dorothy Appelbaum, 51, Marshall, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the home of her sister in Oklahoma City.

Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church. Rev. Ward J. Pankratz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Central Oklahoma, in care of Brown Funeral home.

Miss Appelbaum was the daughter of George and Cecelia (Knepper) Appelbaum and was born at Perry, July 23, 1936. She was a graduate of Perry high school and a member of the Catholic church.

She had been involved in child care all her adult life.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Grace, Oklahoma City; and one brother, Edward Appelbaum, Perry.
