Pat Hetherington hopes to study business at Oklahoma A. & M. college as her first post-graduation step. She has received all of her schooling in this city and was born here Aug. 16, 1934. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Campbell, 906 Cedar street. Pat served as a member of the library staff during the 1949-50 school year.
Patsy Ruth (Hetherington) Patterson

Patsy R. Patterson, 64, Enid, died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, at Integris Bass Hospital at Enid.
Born in Perry on Aug. 16, 1934, she was the daughter of Dale and Ruth (Perkins) Heatherington. She was a Perry High School graduate and received her degree in nursing from Southwestern State College.
In 1958 she moved to Enid and worked as a nurse at Bass and St. Mary’s hospitals and the Methodist Home.
One grandson and a sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis McDonald, Daniel McDonald and Jeff Patterson, all of Enid; one daughter, Marna Patterson, Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren, one brother Marvin “Buddy” Heatherington, Ponca City; three step-sisters, Iva Bell Barry and Ada Stahl, both of Enid, and Dixie McHenry, Osborne, KS; and one step-brother, Bud Campbell, Muskogee.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Henninger-Allen Funeral home at Enid. Rev. Monte Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Perry. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research.
