William Franklin Stickney

June 29, 1972 – September 12,1997

Perry native Willie Stickney, 25, died at 9:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12,1997 at his home.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist church with Rev. Allen McHam, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Brown Funeral home.

Stickney was born June 29, 1972 at Perry. He was a graduate of Perry high school and was employed at The Charles Machine Works, Inc.

Survivors include his parents, Judy Cox, Smyrna, GA, and Otis Stickney, Perry; his grandmother, Joyce Layton, Perry; four sisters, Christy Conrad, Shelly Huffman and Stacy Breckenridge, all of Perry, and Scotty Chitwood, Drumright; and a special friend, Kim Franklin.
