Margie Jordan VanBrunt
- daughter of Mrs. Frank Jordan, 519 Seventh, Margie Jordan Van Brunt is a native of Amber, Okla., where she was born June 22, 1927. She attended grade school both at Chickasha and Perry prior to enrolling in the local junior-senior high school.
Margie is a past president of Kappa Teen and is secretary-treasurer of the National Honor Society. She also is a four-year member of Teen Town and treasurer of that body this year. Vice president of the band in 1944-45, she has played in that organization since 1942. She is a member of the Perryscope staff, and was business manager in both her junior and senior years for the class play.
After getting her diploma here she wants to be a housewife.

Former Perryan Margie VanBrunt, 56, Oklahoma City, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday at Mercy Health center at Oklahoma City.
Funeral will beat 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Funeral home chapel in Perry. Rev. Don Johnson, pastor of the First United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. VanBrunt, the former Margie Jordan, was born at Amber, Okla., June 22, 1927. She was a graduate of Perry high school. She was an employee of the Central Collection Bureau in Oklahoma City.
Among survivors are three sons, Kenneth VanBrunt, Perry; Mike VanBrunt, Yukon; and David VanBrunt, Shawnee; one daughter, Jann Taylor, Oklahoma City; her father, Frank Jordan, Holdenville; her mother, Velma Sadler, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Nadine Karcher, Perry; and Mildred Lemler, Hominy; and seven grandchildren.
