Lawrence Eldon Wood

December 11, 1899 – October 27, 1972

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Midtown funeral home, Oklahoma City for Lawrence E. Wood, 72, of Oklahoma Qty, formerly of Perry.

Burial was in Memorial park cemetery, Oklahoma City. Wood died Friday in Presbyterian hospital, Oklahoma City.

He was born near Independence, Mo., and moved to Perry in 1901. Wood, a Perry high school graduate, moved to Oklahoma City in 1925.

Wood and Ethel Violet Ruble were married August 29, 1925.

He was a retired self-employed pharmacist, served in the Navy during World War I and was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Survivors include his wife of the home address and two brothers, J. C., of Ponca City and Estel, Las Vegas, Nev.
