Grace Adaline (Garrett) Woyke

August 22, 1912 – November 22, 1989

Grace Garrett Woyke, 77, life-long resident of the local area, died at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday at Perry Nursing home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Brown Funeral home. Rev. Bill Stacy, pastor of the First United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

Mrs. Woyke was the daughter of Robert and Susie Garrett. She was born in Noble county, Aug. 22, 1912. She attended Fourdee school and was a graduate of Perry high school.

She and Chris P. Woyke were married October 20, 1948, in Noble County. He preceded her in death in 1970.

She farmed north of Perry and worked as a pastry cook at Cherokee Strip Restaurant. Mrs. Woyke was a member of the First Christian church, the Vicinage homemakers group and the Community Social Hall organization.

Survivors include two brothers, Delbert Garrett and Chauncey Garrett, both of Perry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and four brothers.
