Mabel Louise (Lucas) Bobbitt

July 30, 1892 – October 27, 1927

Mrs. Francis B. Bobbitt, 35 years of age, died at the home in southwest, Perry about 5:30 Tuesday morning following an illness which has extended over several months.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lucas and a sister of Bruce Lucas, city clerk and has lived in Perry practically all of her life although she was born in Nebraska.

Funeral services are to be held, from the home at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon with Reverend Willhoyt, pastor of the Baptist church at Blackwell, officiating with burial being made in Grace Hill cemetery.

Besides a number of brothers and sisters she is survived by her four children, Frances, William, Eleanor and James, and her husband.

About four years ago the family lived in Blackwell and moved back to Perry at that time.
