Stephen Bamberger is now president of the Perry Future Farmers of America chapter and has previously served as its secretary.
He is the son of Lee W. Bamberger, Perry route three. He has attended Willow Creek school district 39, and graduates from Perry high school at the age of 17. He has been active in Teen Town, the Lutheran brotherhood, and the church choir.
He plans to enroll at Enid Business college to study business management.
Lee Stephen Bamberger
August 1, 1930 – December 6, 1952
Lee Stephen Bamberger died in a train-car collision Saturday, December 6, near Ransom, Kan.
Bamberger was born Aug. 1, 1930, three miles east of Perry, and graduated in 1948 from Perry high school. He later attended business college in Enid, and was employed by Long-Bell lumber company in Enid for three years.
He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bamberger, east of Perry; a brother, Buddy Bamberger, Enid; sister; Mrs. Judson Pierce Jr., Hawthorne, Nev.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Shiever, Morrison.
Pastor Fred Bloch will officiate at last rites for Bamberger, and burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery.
