Mary Elizabeth Rolling

– daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rolling, route 1, is 17 years old. She was born in Perry and attended the Catholic school and Fairview, district 30.

She is a member of the Catholic study club and plans to work at Ponca City for the Continental Oil Co.

September 24, 1926 – March 10, 1957

An illness of the past four weeks was fatal at 4:50 a.m. Sunday in St. Mary’s hospital, Enid, for Miss Mary Elizabeth Rolling, 30, secretarial employee of the state highway department division office here.

Rosary will be read at 8 p.m. Monday in the Newton chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Rose of Lima Catholic church with Rev. John T. Murray pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.

Miss Rolling, a resident at 702 Seventh street, was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Perry. She was a member of the Catholic church, St Rose of Lima Altar society, choir, and Beta Sigma Phi.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rolling, a sister, Mrs. Jim Mildfelt, and two brothers, Leo Rolling and A. J. Rolling all of Perry.
