Iris Jean Lee

– the daughter of Mrs. Arthur R. Lee, 1029 Grove, she was born June 28, 1927, in Plainville, Kan. She has attended schools at Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Fort Collins, Colo., Brighton, Colo., Manitou Springs, Colo., and in Arkansas.

While a student at Manitou high school, Iris Jean was active in the student council, Booster club, glee club, band, and played on the girls basketball team. She belongs to the Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Her plans for after graduation are still indefinite.

Iris “Jean” (Lee) Barrett

June 28, 1927 – April 27, 2011

Iris Jean (Lee) Barrett, 84, was born June 28, 1927, and died on April 27, 2011, after a brief illness.

She was a resident of San Jose, California. A loving wife and devoted mother of four sons.

She was preceded in death by her son Stuart.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Claire Barrett, her sons Ted, Steven, and Roger Barrett, daughters-in-law Janet and Jessie Barrett, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, May 7th at 11am at the Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street in San Jose. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the JW House, 3850 Homestead Road, Santa Clara, CA 95051.
