Ted Swisher

– son of Reuben Swisher, Stillwater, route 3, is 18 years old and plans to farm or go to the army soon.

He was born in Noble county and attended Barrett, district 81. He is a member of F.F.A. and took part in wrestling activities.

Ted Reuben Swisher, 82, died June 14, 2008. His funeral was held June 17, 2008, at Dover Baptist Church with The Rev. Jerry Ervin and Steve Clark officiating.

Son of the late Reuben and Marie Emily Sawatzky Swisher, he graduated from Perry High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He married Mildred Mae Moseley on June 10, 1949, in Mooreland, OK.

He was a member of Dover Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

He was survived by his wife; three sons, Darrell Swisher, Bill Swisher and Mike Swisher; two daughters, Rhonda Fleming and Daphne Opitz; four sisters, Evelyn Madison, Ruth Swyden, Ruby Balbo and Mae Smith; four brothers, Emery Swisher, Don Swisher, Darrell Swisher and Dick Swisher; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
