Reba Johnston
– daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Johnston, was born April 22, 1917, in Missouri. She has attended school in Perry and Oklahoma City.
Miss Johnston has played in the band 3 years.
She would like to become a secretary, and takes a great deal of interest in animals. She expects to attend business school next year.
Reba (Johnston) Thurman
April 22, 1917 – January 28, 1986
On Tuesday, January 28, 1986, Reba, wife of Astor L. Thurman of Shadyside, PA, died.
Memorial service was held Friday at 2 p.m. with a private interment.
The daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Henry S. Johnston, she was born April 22, 1917, in Bloomfield, MO. She graduated from Perry high school in 1936.
She is survived by her husband, Astor Lewis Thurman; son, Alan L. and daughter, Carla J. Thurman; and grandchildren, James Thurman, Brian and Kelli Bleichrodt.
